The National Taxpayers Institute was established in 1969 to educate taxpayers, the media, and elected officials on a non-partisan basis on the merits of limited government and low taxes.

NTU is included on this page because it has a nifty state-by-state directory of taxpayer groups, some of which are not included on this page because they have no web presence. NTU also has a handful of state-level affiliate groups.
