A national public interest law firm dedicated to defending individual rights, the Center for Individual Rights provides legal advocacy in select cases that will most bolster individual liberty. CIR's primary areas of focus are freedom of speech, free exercise of religion, civil rights, and restoring local autonomy. Unlike IJ, which primarily uses in-house attorneys, CIR often relies on attorneys in their network to work on the case pro bono. CIR also offers undergraduate internships and full-time summer clerkships.
