Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace
Founded in 1919 by Herbert Hoover, it is the oldest conservative-leaning research center. "The Hoover Institution puts its accumulated knowledge to work as a prominent contributor to the world marketplace of ideas defining a free society." Hoover hosts an internationally renowned library and archives. Numerous Hoover publications are available online, including weekly essays by Hoover fellows. Hoover also produces Uncommon Knowledge, a weekly half-hour television program about public policy, which airs on PBS. |
