Wisconsin Policy Research Institute (WPRI) seeks a seasoned executive to lead this independent, non-partisan research institute.
The president must be skilled in: Board relations; Fundraising and public outreach, including to the general public, the press, boards of foundations and endowments, legislative leaders and their staffs;Communication, both as an effective speaker and writer; Research and the ability to identify capable research talent, Publishing and editing of research manuscripts: WPRI publishes a magazine; and possess the necessary skills to lead and manage the Institute. Given its focus, the president must possess a solid understanding of Wisconsin politics and policy setting. A successful leader must be an innovative, creative thinker, able to lead long-term strategic planning.
Compensation is competitive.
Position reports to the Board Chairman.
