The Phoenix-based Goldwater Institute seeks an energetic, policy oriented, fundraising associate to direct the Institute’s donor and prospect research.
The Development Researcher is solely responsible for the research of all active, new, and prospective donors to the Institute. Specifically, the Development Researcher will conduct critical research on current and new donors to the Institute to identify top-level house prospects. The Development Researcher will also work to identify, research, and recommend potential high-level prospects from around the nation who might consider supporting the Institute if given the opportunity.
The Institute acquires new donors on a daily basis and critical research needs to be conducted on each one to determine giving capacity, policy areas of interest, and potential interest in the supporting the Institute at an increased level.
This position is not responsible for soliciting contributions from current or prospective donors.
The Development Researcher will be in a position to grow with the organization and develop a long-term career at the Institute with increased responsibility.
