Career Services Coordinator

The Career Services Coordinator will serve as the Institute’s jobseeker liaison. In this role, the coordinator will: maintain and answer jobseeker inquiries, conduct career consultations and edit resumes, and make recommendations for jobseeker referrals.


The Career Services Coordinator will be responsible for the development and implementation of Leadership Institute career trainings: the Broadcast Journalism School, Foreign Service Opportunity School, Civil Service Opportunity School, Conservative Intern Workshop, Written Communications Workshop, and Conservative Career Workshop. In this role, the coordinator will: meet with potential faculty to research training topics; schedule faculty, plan curriculum and set agendas, and manage logistics, such as collecting speakers’ presentations in advance and ordering meals for students.


The Career Services Coordinator will also be the marketing manager for all trainings run by the department through the effective use of targeted emails, social media, and outreach to partner organizations. One to two years of work experience and event planning and/or marketing experience is desired.
