The Center for Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy and Policy in partnership with Nonprofit NoVA, the Center for Social Entrepreneurship, and Young Nonprofit Professionals Network, DC (YNPNdc), cordially invite you to When Dreams Defy Reality: How Social Entrepreneurs Spread Innovation. Monday, March 18, from 7:30 pm – 8:45 pm, featuring Beverly Schwartz.

Beverly Schwartz is the Vice President of Global Marketing at Ashoka, a global organization that works to ensure that social entrepreneurs and their innovations inspire large-scale social change. Her recent book, Rippling: How Social Entrepreneurs Spread Innovation, presents some of today’s most innovative and effective approaches to solving social and environmental challenges, and clearly demonstrates that when empathy, creativity, passion, and persistence are combined, significant and life-altering progress is possible.
