The civil justice system in the United States is in a constant state of flux.  Changes occur at both the state and federal levels, through both legislative and judicial actions.  At the same time, judges face a constant barrage of new and innovative legal theories and procedural maneuvers.  The goal of the annual symposium is to provide a platform that gives judges a systematic review and critique of the most important civil justice issues of the day.

The program begins with registration, reception and dinner on Sunday, November 11, runs all day Monday, November 12 and concludes by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13.  Lodging and all class sessions will be at the Mason Inn and Conference Center on George Mason University’s main campus in Fairfax, Virginia.
