Counterfeit drugs, medical devices, consumer goods and electrical devices are not only an economic threat, but also a threat to public health.   Please join the Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI) and the Center for Medicine in the Public Interest (CMPI) for a briefing on the counterfeits problem, and learn what is being done about counterfeits both by industry and by the public sector. And hear international perspectives on the counterfeit problem during a special interactive session with attendees from the embassy community. You’ll leave with a much better sense of the current state of efforts to combat counterfeits, and of what still remains to be done.
