This workshop is for U.S. History, Government, Civics, and Social Studies teachers and will help meet numerous Wyoming state standards.

Program Details:

 

  • Program Location:  Storey Gymnasium, 2811 House Avenue, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82001.
  • The seminar begins at 7:30 A.M. with registration and breakfast, and concludes at 2:30 P.M.

 

 

Participants will:

 

  • Analyze how the Supreme Court has interpreted the Constitution’s protections of civil and economic liberty.
  • Discuss Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (2010) and Schechter Poultry Corp. v. United States (1935).
  • Receive a FREE download of our brand new online resources exploring the connection between civil and economic liberty.
  • Explore resources to conduct document-based questions on Supreme Court cases.
  • Discuss primary source documents and historically-based, expert methods to address these topics.
