Cato University is the Cato Institute’s premier educational event of the year. This annual program brings together outstanding faculty and participants from across the country and, often, from around the globe–all sharing a commitment to liberty and learning. Its widening popularity is due to not only the quality of the attendees, faculty and topics, but the opportunity it provides participants to form new and enduring friendships, and for sharing experiences and perspectives in a one-of-a-kind, brain-energizing environment.
This year’s program is once again being held at the Cato Institute’s newly expanded headquarters, located in the heart of Washington, D.C. Now double its original size, the Cato building will enhance the intellectual adventure for attendees with state-of-the-art facilities, the latest in conference and multimedia technology, spacious and comfortable meeting areas, and more.
To make this wonderful program as accessible to as many people as possible, we’ve kept the cost of Cato University at $995. This price covers all meals, receptions, lectures, materials, books, and evening events, but not overnight room charges. However, we have arranged low room rates for Cato University participants at a nearby hotel.
Robert Levy, chairman of the Cato Institute; John Allison, president of the Cato Institute; Mary Anastasia O’Grady, Wall Street Journal; Jeffrey Miron, Harvard University; Robert McDonald, United States Military Academy at West Point; and, Tom G. Palmer, Cato Institute.
