What are the principles of liberalism? Is there a liberal ethics? What is the theory of property rights? Is capitalism in crisis or the Welfare State? The Cato Institute and the Progressive Foundation is pleased to invite students and recent graduates to discuss these and other issues during Cato University-Foundation for Progress, to be held from 16 to 20 December 2012 in Viña del Mar, Chile.
The event will cover topics such as: the fundamentals of the Austrian School, the economic transformation of Chile, history of independence movements in Latin America, the evolution of institutions, what the Chicago School, among others.
American youth can participate between 18 and 30 years. This seminar will last four days and will take place in the Hotel Conference Town
Cato University-Foundation for Progress has room for 40 young people from Latin America. Download and fill the application form and send it to email@example.com. If selected you must pay a fee of $ 40 which includes food and lodging for four nights at the Hotel Conference Town and roundtrip transportation between Santiago and Viña del Mar. The program does not cover airfare.
