Please join George Mason University economics professor, New York Times bestselling author and local food expert Tyler Cowen and your favorite DMV food trucks for an evening of foodie fun and discussion!

Food movements are sweeping the nation as concerns about the environment, animal cruelty, and obesity demand our attention. In An Economist Gets Lunch, Tyler Cowen examines the world of food, from grocery shopping, the local ethnic dining scene and food trucks to beautiful-people restaurants, global agribusiness and the locavore movement —with fascinating, controversial and delicious implications for your next meal.  Let the next food revolution begin!

Starting at 6pm, Lemongrass Truck and Doug the Food Dude will be offering up their tasty delights, so grab a quick bite and support your local businesses. At 7pm, head into the Library for a lively discussion and Q&A with Professor Cowen.
