Norman Barry

Norman Barry is Professor of Social and Political Theory at the University of Buckingham, UK. His many books include Hayek's Social and Economic Philosophy (1979), On Classical Liberalism and Libertarianism (1987), Welfare (1990 and 1999) and An Introduction to Modern Political Theory (1981, 1989, 1995 and 2000). He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Social Philosophy and Politicy, Bowling Green State University, Ohio, and at Liberty Fund, Indianapolis. He is a member of the Academic Advisory Councils of the Institute of Economic Affairs, London, and the David Hume Institute, Edinburgh.
